Mr. David Stanton, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of Justice and Equality with special responsibility for Equality, Immigration and Integration, today announced the projects that will receive funding under the 2018 Communities Integration Fund.
A total of 335 applications were received following a call for applications which closed on the 3rd of May 2018. Of the applications received, a total of 115 projects were successful. The total value of all funded projects is just over Euro 500,000, with a maximum amount of Euro 5,000 being allocated to any single project. The list of successful projects is available here.
Announcing the projects, Minister Stanton said:
The 2018 Communities Integration Fund (CIF) was launched on the 21st of March this year. This is the second year of the Communities Integration Fund. Every county in Ireland received support from the Fund for locally run projects to support the integration of migrants.
OPMI would like to congratulate all those that have been successful in their applications and to extend thanks to all organisations who submitted an application. The process was highly competitive, with a large number of applications.
